Butter-Baked Saltine Crackers

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter or ghee
  • 2 standard-size sleeves of saltine crackers (about 48 crackers)

Description

  1. Prepare oven and crackers: Position a rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 400°F. Arrange the crackers in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet.

  2. Melt butter, and drizzle over crackers: Melt the butter in the microwave or saucepan. Drizzle the warm butter over the crackers, making sure they are well coated.

  3. Bake saltines: Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges begin to brown. Serve warm.
