Classic Mai Tai

Ingredients


  • 1 oz. amber rum 
  • 1 oz. fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 oz. Cointreau
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz. orgeat syrup (optional)
  • 1 oz. dark rum 
  • Small pineapple wedge, for serving

Description

  1. In a cocktail shaker, stir together rum, orange juice, Cointreau, lime juice, and orgeat syrup (if using).
  2. Add ice and shake until cold. Strain into a rocks glass and top with dark rum. Serve with a pineapple wedge.
